About This Site
This guide is written and published by dermia clinic, a dermatology clinic in Myeongdong, Seoul. We say that up front because you should know who is explaining a treatment to you.
Why a separate site
Most people searching in English are not yet choosing a clinic. They are trying to work out what a treatment is, whether it matches their concern, and what a visit involves.
Those questions deserve a straight answer rather than a booking page. So we keep them here, in plain English, and leave prices, appointments and treatment specifics on the clinic site.
Who writes it
Dr.scene (Dr. Shin Dong-hyun) is the medical director of dermia clinic in Myeongdong, Seoul. He consults and treats personally rather than handing patients to another practitioner after consultation, and consultations are held in English.

What we publish here

What we do not publish here
- Prices. They change, and the clinic site is the only place they stay correct.
- Before-and-after photographs.
- Anything that would count as a personal medical recommendation. Nothing here replaces a consultation.
How pages are reviewed
Every treatment page carries the name of the doctor who reviewed it and the date of that review. If a page has no review line, it has not been through medical review yet — and those pages are kept out of search results until they have.
When we change the medical content of a page, it goes back for review and the date changes with it. The review line is a record, not a badge.
Editorial approach
Pages are written to be read by someone who has never had a cosmetic treatment. We avoid brand-heavy language and describe limitations as clearly as benefits, because both matter when you are deciding.
Medical content is reviewed by Dr.scene before publication. If you spot something that reads as inaccurate or unclear, the clinic’s contact details are on the clinic site and we would rather hear it.
